SafeWake A wakening device with vibrator and built-in smoke alarm
UniVox SafeWake is a unique device for hearing impaired who needs to wake up - in hotels or at home.
UniVox SafeWake works in the same way as an ordinary wakening device with vibrator but has a unique additional feature: it also works as an indicator for smoke alarms.
The electronics reacts on the clocks own alarm as well as on acoustical smoke alarms which are approved
The vibrator reacts on continous sound for more than 2 sec
The vibrator reacts at >70dB SPL which equals normal speach from approx. 1 metre distance
Wake upp function and smoke alarm indication works separately - smoke alarm indication works even if the on/off button is pressed down
Built-in chargeable back up battery operates clock and microphone for min. 12 hours and vibrator for min.
