UniVox® DLS-30TV UniVox® DLS-30TV is a complete assistive listening device for hearing aid users watching TV. DLS-30TV is developed for LCD/plasma screens which often have echo or delay problems together with induction loop systems.

With a separate control (TV Sync) the TV sound is synchronized correctly.

DLS-30TV has a built-in automatic scart (Euroconnector) control which is easily connected to the scart output of your TV. The autoscart function is needed whenever you have one or more signal sources (digibox, VHS etc.) connected to the TV and secures the
right sound in the loop.

If you have several signal sources, make sure they are all serial connected. All except for the last unit have to have double scart connectors. In those cases where a serial connection is not possible
a microphone (accessory) can be connected to the loop amplifier
and attached to your TV’s speaker grid.

Place the loop pad in your favourite chair and tune your hearing aid into T-position. For coverage of a larger area a sofa loop (accessory) can be connected to the amplifier instead of the loop pad. Thanks to the built-in level control (dual action AGC) DLS-30TV delivers a very smooth and pure sound.

If you have a standard CRT TV we recommend UniVox® DLS-30
with the same characteristics as DLS-30TV, but without the TV Sync function.

Serial connection of TV / Satellite / Digital box / VHS / DVD

Ensure that the TV works correctly together with your Satellite receiver/Digital box/VHS/DVD before you start the installation
of DLS-30TV.

The sound sources that are connected to the TV have to be serial connected. If there are more than one scart output on your TV, always use scart output no 1. All signal sources but the last have to have two scart connectors each (in/out).

If the connections are correct the picture and sound change automatically according to the chosen signal source. For
example if you start the VHS, sound and picture in your TV change automatically to the sound and picture of the VHS movie.
