UniVox® SLS-100 XF
Loop system with HiFi quality
and 3-D controlled overspill |
UniVox® SLS – Super Loop System® is target designed for professional installations in venues where high sound quality, very high reproducibility together with extremely low overspill in all directions are important requirements. With the UniVox® SLS system the magnetic field is controlled in three dimensions producing different levels at different heights. This makes it possible to reach field strengths complying with the IEC standard for standing and sitting positions or to cover a mobile seating section with different heights.
UniVox® SLS system is a fully balanced 2-layer loop system resulting in incredible smooth field strength even at high frequencies that are vital for speech intelligibility. Furthermore the balanced field strength concept, as all balanced systems, almost totally cancels out normal interference problems with audio/video installations, for example microphones and video projectors. The common interference problem with reinforcement and other metallic structures is strongly reduced thanks to the opposite phase system. All these technological details result in a reliable and predictable installation.
This second generation of UniVox® SLS series of amplifiers continues to build on two separate loop configurations, but they are now connected to one 19" rack mounted unit with matching power amplifiers. Lower distortion and an increased output voltage enhance the dynamics substantially, especially in the treble area (beyond 10kHz!).
The result is an induction loop system with HiFi sound quality for the hearing aid users!
UniVox® SLS-100 XF is most suitable for new construction/rebuilding of theatres, cinemas, conference buildings, schools etc. For areas larger than 170m² use the SLS-300 XF and for areas larger than 300m² use the SLS-700 (two units) supporting areas up to 650m². UniVox® SLS fulfills IEC 60118-4.
